Support Staff/Assistant Teacher for immediate hire

Summary
Calvary Christian Preschool Daycare is looking for a support staff teacher. We are looking for someone who will show up every day with an eagerness to help guide and direct these children, and be committed to the classroom, the children in it, and the teaching staff. You will help cover classes during lunch breaks as well as if teachers are out sick etc. You will gain lots of experience with every age group and build connections with each child and their family's through this position.
Calvary Christian Preschool Daycare is a Christ centered school. Not only do we teach Jesus Christ, our teachers must model His behaviors. Prayer, worship, the word are all intricate parts of the job and who we hire must be willing to impart all three of these in their daily interactions with the children. They must model the behaviors themselves that they desire to see from the children. That means they must put on the fruits of the Spirit each day and display those to the children. We incorporate the bible in every area of curriculum, and desire to not just grow these children in their knowledge of academics but in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. This is not just a job, this is truly a ministry and we desire that whom ever we hire look at this as just that. We are making a difference in these children and their families lives in more than just caring for their treasures but displaying the love of Christ to all whom enter our doors.
Duties
*assisting in various classrooms through out the day
*help cover lunch breaks in various classrooms
*supporting lead teacher in classrooms with tending to the children
*diaper changing depending on classroom
Requirements
High School Diploma
Finger Print Clearance Card
Negative TB Test
Nice To Haves
At least 6 months experience in licensed daycare facility

We are currently going through the quality first redesign with the hopes of improving and growing better in our industry and providing phenomenal care for each of our families. We take children from ages 6 weeks to school age and have a total of 7 classrooms with the ability to have up to 96 children. We are located in Tempe on the North East corner of Southern and Price.
