Job Description
Qualifications:
A Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (L.C.D.C. III) or Licensed Social Work (LSW) or higher credential is required. Two years of prior experience in the Chemical Dependency field is preferred.
Duties:
I. Administrative
- Submits monthly reports and plans of action on any deficits noted.
- Meets weekly with program director to review progress and/or problems and provides guidance on the same.
II. Direct Services
- Conducts and /or co-facilitates internal/virtual treatment groups in a secured institutional setting.
- Completes required documentation for internal/virtual treatment groups.
- Performs other related assignments as required by the program director / SUBSTANCE ABUSE supervisor.
III. Program Development
- Monitors and recommends refinements and improvements to the Substance Abuse Supervisor.
- Assists with evaluations of program outcome.
