The Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) will be an advanced and modern combat ship, equipped with next generation technology to capably support and protect the men and women of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) as they fulfill their wide range of missions around the world, from humanitarian assistance to high-intensity conflicts, for the next 40+ years. The CSC project is the largest and most complex shipbuilding initiative in Canada since World War II. This project will also help revitalize the Canadian shipbuilding industry, sustaining and creating long-term sustainable, high-tech jobs in Canada for next 3-4 decades, enabling our ability to support the ships domestically when in service.
Irving Shipbuilding Industries is the Prime contractor to the Government of Canada and Lockheed Martin the major subcontractor to provide the Ship Design and the Combat System. The program is currently in the design phase with work underway for the Critical Design Review (CDR).
This position is a Deputy Supply Chain Lead for the CSC program supporting both the FMS and DCS scope of the program. The CSC Supply Chain encompasses 20+ Complexity 1-3 subcontracts for Combat Systems and Design/Integration Subcontractors. The effort is in excess of $2B of Subcontract Scope. The Deputy role will be in support of the CSC Supply Chain lead, and include supporting the Supply Chain team with supplier execution challenges, supporting RFP creation/evaluation, engaging directly with the Canadian customer, managing supplier Earned Value, internal reporting including INAR, PAR, etc.
Preferred candidate should have experience working in dynamic non-traditional environments, working with a geographically dispersed virtual team, communicating to senior leadership levels, and experience managing large subcontracts.
Job will require occasional travel to key supplier, internal, and customer meetings. Selected leader will build effective supplier, internal/external customer & reporting team relationships.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years or more of professional experience; or 8years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience with managing large subcontracts.
Experience with LM Supply Chain processes, such as monthly reporting requirements and presenting to senior leadership.
Experience with negotiating unique terms and conditions and contract changes with large suppliers.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
