Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: This position will support the Office of the President through general office assistance and greeting guests. We are looking for a candidate who: displays initiative and a positive attitude, maintains regular and punctual attendance, and maintains a 3.0 GPA while employed. Our Student Workers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and dress for an office setting.
During the course of employment, Student Workers may encounter confidential information. Appropriate action should be taken to ensure the protection, confidentiality and security of confidential information. A violation of this policy will result in an employee's termination and will be handled accordingly.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
General office assistance
Greeting guests
Other duties as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Have basic understanding of Microsoft Work and Excel
- Provide assistance with office tasks
- Communicate effectively and professionally with guests and Office staff
- Conduct yourself professionally and dress appropriately
- Greet clients and visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information
- Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information
- Assist with various projects, activities or tasks as needed
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
