To provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the department or office.

Qualifications (Required and Preferred)
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency. Contact Financial Aid for additional requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will:
- Answer, direct and make phone calls.
- Receive and distribute phone messages.
- Handle inquiries and incoming work requests.
- Review files and records to answer requests for information.
- Check and distribute documents and correspondence.
- Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Maintain filing systems.
- Compile records of office activities.
- Photocopy, scan and fax.
- Send emails.
- Prepare and send outgoing mailings and packages.
- Type documents and correspondence.
- Check and enter data.
- Update and maintain databases.
- Coordinate work flow.
- Keep office area neat and tidy.
- May perform other duties, not listed, as needed.

PHYSICAL EFFORT
Light physical activity is required with occasional lifting of objects up to 15 pounds. Keyboard manipulation.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is normally performed in an office setting during normal college hours of operation. Use of various software programs.
