Job Summary:Global Partner Summer Program (GPSP) is a non-credit opportunity for groups from Global Partner institutions to live on Miami’s campus and experience Oxford and the surrounding area. This Student Specialist would be assisting the GPSP staff with program preparations, daily tours around campus and Oxford.
Essential Duties:Duties include, but are not limited to: serving as a campus liaison for the visiting group, accompanying the group during activities and excursions, assisting with office work related to the program, setting up/checking/closing down events and thinking on your feet.Minimum Qualifications:Must be familiar with Oxford campus (dining halls, residence halls, academic buildings, rec center, etc.), knowledgeable about Miami information, traditions, and history, comfortable communicating with international students and scholars, able to walk long distances, carry boxes, and move quickly when necessary. Be comfortable with managing groups and managing any issues that may arise. Be available for Summer 2024 for 6 weeks. (Middle of June - early August)Ability to work evenings and weekends
