About the Role
Magna’s ADAS technologies are shaping an autonomous future and improving lives. The ADAS intern/Co-op supports the ADAS team by integrating, developing, testing and debugging the ADAS algorithms such as ACC, AEB, Lane Centering, Lane Keep Assist etc.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop building blocks for ADAS features/algorithms
- Integrate new or modified Simulink models into the MATLAB and/or CarMaker test environment
- Create or modify test cases based on the requirements to cover the new or modified functionalities
- Debug issues found and root cause them
- Report and document issues; Propose correction to issue reported
- Perform systems testing of products on bench and in vehicles making sure the product functions and performs as the customer expects per requirements.
Who we are looking for
- Enrolled in a master’s or PhD degree program in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Automotive Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license
Your preferred qualifications
Mandatory:
- Experience in vehicle dynamics OR control systems OR digital signal processing through coursework or industry experience
- Coursework or project with vehicle simulation/testing
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink and Stateflow
- MS Office Tools knowledge
- Basic knowledge of ADAS features
- Working knowledge in structured engineering approach
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills
Preferred:
- Experience with CarMaker/CarSim/Equivalent software
- Experience in ADAS/AD academic/industry projects
- Execution of test suites in a model/software in the loop environment (MIL/SIL)
- Working knowledge in development of portable, reusable and modular software in automotive environment.
