Summary
Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours to be eligible for Student Employment opportunities during Fall and Spring semesters. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours to be eligible for Student Employment opportunities during Summer semesters.

Bookstore Employment Opportunities Include:
- Operate a cash register.
- Accurately and efficiently ring sales transactions including department charges and student charges.
- Count down and balance a drawer at the end of the day.
- Assist with other areas in the Bookstore such as receiving items, inventory items, and stocking shelves.
- Assist the textbook department with textbook orders.
- Pull textbook orders in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Provide a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer.
- Perform related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
- Must be enrolled in 6 credit hours at ICC during the semester of employment for fall or spring or enrolled in 3 credit hours for summer employment.
- Cashier positions require 6 months cash handling experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.
Preferred Qualifications
Enrolled in related courses or related subject area.
