Job Summary:
Student will assist with research projects in the Schumacher lab, working with zebrafish embryos using established staining protocols.
Essential Duties:
Solution prep, microscopy, data analysis, animal handling. Student may provide guided supervision for junior lab members, and is expected to work with limited supervision, showing some independence and initiative for troubleshooting.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completed at least one biology course with a lab and received a grade of "B" or better
Strong oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Experience following written scientific protocols
Professionalism and courtesy in the workplace
