Position Title: Structural Designer

Category/Shift: Salaried Full-Time (Onsite with Paid Relocation)

Physical Location:Gilroy, California

Our Award-Winning Client, a national leader in the Paper/Packaging/Containers industry, is seeking a highly skilled Structural Designer to join their dynamic team.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Develop and create innovative package designs, prototypes, and specifications to support sales promotions, collaborating closely with Account Managers.
• Engage in discussions with Sales representatives to understand project requirements and provide suitable design solutions.
• Generate ideas for new and enhanced designs by analyzing customer needs and production feasibility.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce samples and process them on the cutting table.
• Demonstrate proficiency in understanding production machine capabilities to contribute to design specifications.
• Collaborate with customer service to ensure timely plate and die ordering and secure master print cards.

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Associate to four-year degree with a focus on computer-aided design (CAD), drafting, or relevant work experience.
• ArtiosCAD experience is advantageous.
• Previous experience in the corrugated packaging industry is essential.
• Competent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Bonus Opportunity:
