The Stroke Coordinator ensures quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of stroke care delivery for their BHSF hospital and is responsible for program assessment, planning, performance improvement, education, stroke program accreditation, hospital service utilization, community outreach, and EMS outreach, feedback, & education. The Stroke Coordinator works in a multidisciplinary role to effectively promote quality in clinical practice for a specific patient population with the goal of providing quality, competitive value, and outstanding service to staff, patients, families, and the community. Estimated pay range for this position is $40.96 - $54.48 / hour depending on experience.
Degrees: Bachelors Licenses & Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale Certification Registered Nurse ABNN Stroke Certified Registered Nurse Additional Qualifications: Three years of stroke patient care nursing experience as an RN with emphasis on critical care, emergency care, or neuroscience care. SCRN or Equivalent (CNRN or CEN) or will need to obtained in 2 years. Life support certification per department standard.
