The role of "Strategic Sourcing Financial Analyst" affords exposure to Pratt & Whitney's Strategic Supply Chain team and the financial reporting of its results.  The motivated team player filling this position will serve as the liaison between the Strategic Supply Chain management, Operations and Programs Finance, Product Cost Management, and Program Management teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Team with Strategic Sourcing Managers (SSMs) to identify and achieve initiatives that reduce cost, secure supply, and improve quality throughout the product life cycle
  • Drive P&L impact of initiatives through development and ongoing reporting of high-level project plans
  • Interface with the Operations and Programs Finance teams to communicate financial projections and results from the initiatives, enabling the company's financial tracking and planning
  • Collaborate with Operations and Programs Finance teams to generate monthly financial forecasts for growth product lines
  • Act as focal point for Pratt & Whitney manufacturing sites for the purpose of reporting and forecasting of costs related to procured materials 
  • Communicate progress and financial results to senior executives via summaries and presentations 
  • Partner with the Transition Team to track and assess opportunities and accelerate key buy-to-buy, make-to-buy, and buy-to-make transitions
  • Collaborate with the Product Cost Management Team (PCMT) and Engineering to facilitate execution of the aforementioned projects
  • Build productive relationships with Program Managers to understand their plans and strategic objectives
  • Act as liaison between Strategic Supply Chain Management and New Product Integration teams for the introduction of new product lines. Generate and report cost estimates for these new product lines. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Person status required due to government contracts
  • Bachelor's degree in a finance, business, analytical, technical, or engineering field with a minimum of 5 years of experience., OR Master's degree in finance, business, analytical, technical, or engineering field with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrable analytical skillswill be assessed during interview process
  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications, especially Microsoft Officewill be assessed during interview process.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
