Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Hospice Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel / contract position in Santa Fe, NM. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extensions. Accepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate: Range $1900 to $2080 Weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.50/mile for distance covered between patient home appointments
Unit: Home Health Hospice
Shift:8 Hours; Days, 8a – 5p
Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, Sunday through Thursday
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse experience: 1-2 years - Required
- Recent/Current Home Health and Hospice Nursing experience: 1 year - Required
- Homecare Homebase Charting (HCHB) experience: 1 year - Required
- Must have valid Driver’s License and Personal Auto Insurance
- Must be Covid Vaccinated or provide medical or religious exemption
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or equivalent – Required
- BSN or equivalent – Highly preferred
- RN License for State of New Mexico or Compact – Required
- BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross (Required)
Job Description:
- Provides Nursing care for patients (Hospice and health)
- Submits appropriate documentation and paperwork to facilities at the completion of patient visits; documentation is completed and submitted timely according to company policy.
- Participates as a member of the Interdisciplinary team, including development and implementation of the plan of care.
- Provides End of life care and bereavement support and counseling services to the patient and family; supports the involvement of external counseling resources commensurate with patient/family needs and scope of practice
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Territories to cover: Santa Fe, NM and surrounding areas
