About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Program Manager to join our eBay Motors team in the Draper, Utah office. The Strategic Program Manager is a key player who will be responsible for both leading and implementing critical initiatives and programs to drive growth, improve user experience, and increase profitability within the US Vehicles vertical.
What you will accomplish:
Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to drive the development and execution of critical initiatives aligned with eBay Motors' business goals and objectives.
Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for eBay Motors, including market analysis, driven benchmarking, and identification of growth opportunities.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of automotive market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify key insights and inform strategic decision-making.
Business Development: Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and business opportunities that drive growth and enhance eBay Motors' value proposition.
Performance Management: Define key performance metrics and establish mechanisms for tracking and evaluating the success of critical initiatives. Develop and present regular performance reports to senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, marketing, finance, legal, and other teams to ensure alignment and integration of critical initiatives with broader business objectives.
Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including senior leadership, internal teams, external partners, and industry organizations.
What you will bring
5+ years of experience in program management or strategy, preferably within the automotive industry or e-commerce sector.
Proven track record of successfully leading and driving critical initiatives, with demonstrated results in driving business growth and profitability.
Strong ability to work independently and autonomously, with minimal supervision, to achieve goals and objectives on time and within budget. Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Highly organized with strong project management skills, capable of leading multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to regularly create executive level PowerPoint presentations.
Creative problem solver with a strategic attitude and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Robust analytical skills and ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.
Ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
