Strategic Alliance Business Management Lead
Description -
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact within the Alliance team on all forecasting and planning process that drive a demand signal to our LaserJet Strategic Partner.
  • Manage current business engagement process with Strategic Partner. This will include heavy collaboration and preparation with both HP executive and working team levels.
  • Represent Alliance team in setting Partner manufacturing capacity consistent with HP's quota and business plan objectives
  • Develop strong linkages with HP operations, finance, and marketing
  • Improve the HP/Partner annual freight/shipping cost negotiations. Ensure results align with HP business goals and industry benchmarks. Communicate with key HP stakeholders.

Education and Experience Required:
  • First level university degree (analytical focus, finance, engineering, data science, operations, etc)
  • MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years experience post university
  • Operations/forecasting/planning experience is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Good understanding of business planning processes
  • Print/PC industry knowledge, strong business acumen
  • Ability to work across functional and cultural lines
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
  • Senior leadership presentation skill
  • Highly effective with Microsoft Excel and other HP data analysis tools
  • Strong self-starter, action oriented, and growth mindset required

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $102,500 to $157,850 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
