Job Duties
NVMHI is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to provide safe, quality, nutritional care to support the recovery of individuals with serious mental illness so that they may achieve more satisfying and productive lives. In addition to providing Food Service to patients, the Food Service Worker will be responsible for food preparation, cafeteria service, cleaning and sanitation. This position assists the Food Service Technician II in receiving and stocking food and supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of food production
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures
- Knowledge of Food Service equipment - operation and sanitation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read menus and follow recipes
- Experience working in food preparation is required
