The Store Design Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement Store Design layouts, manage project timelines, and ensure merchandising consistency across their assigned projects. This individual will have a passion for design, strong organizations skills, be process oriented, and have a keen eye for detail. Contributing to the creation of captivating in-store experiences for our guest and associates is a must.
THINGS YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- The primary focus of this role will be producing design intent documentation & schematic designs utilizing a combination of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist in translating Store Designs within various formats with a focus on fixture placement, life safety considerations, and merchandising layouts.
- Creates preliminary and final architecture and fixture floor plans for management approval.
- Support the Store Design team with strategic initiatives & special projects.
- Work in partnership with in-house stakeholders & coordinate project driving alignments with cross-functional partners.
- Ability to research new products while managing the Interior Design resource library and FF&E vendors.
- Supports senior staff in design project management including task prioritization, coordination, and workload management.
- Create and run store reports using the Store Design database
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
- BA in interior design, architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience at an interior design or architectural firm or a retail Store Design department.
- Understands space planning, basic ADA, human ergonomics, and applies this basic understanding to design solutions designing in scale & proportion required Must be a team player.
- Understands construction documents and implementation of design elements in CD sets required.
- Organized - ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and work within various phases of projects.
- Must have high taste level and ability to communicate successfully.
- Must have strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and coordination of drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other Rendering Software.
