We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Sterilization Assistant. As an Assistant, you will provide support to our team of professionals in a dental setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in the healthcare field and looking to gain valuable experience.
```Responsibilities```
- Sterilization of all dental instruments including hygiene & dentist instruments
- Weekly sterlization monitoring (spore tests)
- Assist healthcare professionals with various tasks and procedures
- Maintain patient records and update medical documentation
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide assistance during dental procedures, following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care
```Qualifications```
- Great personality and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of dental terminology not required, and will train.
- Experience or interest in dental assisting extremely helpful
- Familiarity with dental coding and documentation practices (can be trained)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
