Summer Camp Senior Counselor

It's never the same and you may very well end up earning the titles of "Fun Facilitator" and/or "Superhero". Summer @ Latin staff are the best in the business at helping kids build new friendships, inspiring their curiosity, and extending their learning beyond the classroom while having a legendary time doing it. There is no more fun and exciting way to grow as a leader and professional than working with Summer @ Latin.

Our Senior Camp Counselor is primarily responsible for the safety of campers and planning of daily camp structure.

• Responsible for the positive growth of campers
• Leads a group of 8-20 campers.
• Assists with swimming lessons, other specialty area instruction and lunch service
• Works closely with a Junior Counselor to structure and facilitate activities, supervise campers and maintain group schedule.
• Communicates daily with parents and caregivers.
• Reports to Age Group Coordinator.
• Other activities as needed.

• Applicants must be 21 years of age and meet qualification requirements.
• Have experience as a youth leader who enjoys teaching through exploration.
• He/she/they must have experience working with children and youth, preferably in a group setting.
• Should be creative, take initiative, love to problem-solve, and come prepared to provide an excellent summer experience for children.

Compensation: Starting at $17 per hour
