Position Overview:
We are in search of an ambitious and proactive administrative professional that will serve as the primary signatory for all new hire and renewal airport access badge applications and manage the process from initial application submission, background check clearance, scheduling airport required training, to final issuance of an airport access badge (SIDA badge)
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Communicate in a clear and professional manner badge holder responsibilities and protocols for all security professionals working with our company at the airport
- Maintain accurate records; badges issued, expiration dates while following all airport credentialing policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients, guests, and visitors with a positive and helpful attitude
- Work with recruiting department to run weekly hiring events
- review badging application with candidates
- inspect and verify validity of identification required
- prepare candidate files with all pertinent documents completed
- prepare submit new badge applications in a timely fashion
- schedule follow up appointments
- update candidate tracking system with badging process details for each new hire
- Ensure uniform is issued prior to company training
- Track eligible candidates and schedule company orientation, Aviation Security classroom training and on the job training
- Communicate eligibility of new hire candidates to dispatch for prompt addition to the operation roster
- Maintain the cleanliness and over all organization of all general and shared use spaces within the office (kitchens, conference rooms, training rooms)
- A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who is comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with company colleagues and employees.
- HS Diploma or G.E.D
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
- Must have experience working with basic office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, printer)
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Must obtain and maintain throughout course of employment a valid SIDA badge
