METROPOLITAN STATE HOSPITAL- Located in Norwalk, Los Angeles County

CSO is seeking highly motivated individuals for the position of Staff Services Analyst. Under the general supervision of the Unit Supervisor (Safety), incumbents will be
responsible for the production, monitoring and analysis of the program staffing schedules through the Automated Staff Scheduling and Information Support Tool (ASSIST), and other related work. Incumbents should be energetic, creative, ambitious, self-motivated and possess the ability to adapt to various situations in a high paced environment. Ability to problem solve, good communication, professional and organizational qualities, are a must. Incumbents must be able to work well with all departments, manage time efficiently and be an active team player. Experience with computer systems is desired. Qualities sought are the ability to work well with others, have good mediation skills, good time management and maintain confidentiality. Candidates must be willing to work any Unit/Program and any shift to meet the needs of the facility.
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is a narrative discussion of the candidate's education, training, experience, and skills as it relates to the duty statement and desirable qualifications listed above. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing and should be typed and no more than two (2) pages, single-sided and 12-point arial font. The statement of qualifications should explain in detail why the candidate believes their knowledge, skills, and abilities could apply towards this position. Applicants who fail to submit the SOQ as requested will not be considered
Work Schedule:
This is a 12hr shift position.
Will be required to work PM shift
Will be required to work weekends and holidays

Working Conditions
PLEASE NOTE : The CMS Center for Clinical Standards and the Quality, Safety & Oversight Group require COVID-19 vaccinations for healthcare workers. The October 26, 2022, CMS updated directive ( QSO-23-02-ALL ) continues to require all Medicare- and Medicaid-certified providers and suppliers to receive the primary vaccine series, unless they have an approved exemption, such as medical or religious. Therefore, DSH hospital team members will continue to be required to receive the primary vaccine series, unless they have a valid exemption.
Those who would like to seek an exemption based upon religious beliefs or qualifying medical reasons must complete the DSH 3363 COVID-19 Vaccination Exemption Form and provide any required documentation during their pre-employment medical appointment.
