Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another technical discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the design and construction of large-scale machine learning (ML) systems.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Python algorithm development, particularly in ML.
- At least 3 years’ experience in leading engineering and applied science teams.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the entire ML development lifecycle, including the use of open-source AI/ML frameworks and public cloud environments.
- Knowledgeable in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, and version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, etc.
- Experienced with Docker containers and related services like AWS ECS, AWS EKS, Kubernetes
- Broad curiosity about emerging technologies, regularly engaging with new technological developments, reading scientific papers, and experimenting with these technologies.
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and motivate teams across various organizational levels.
Duties:
- Lead a diverse team of developers, AI engineers, and applied scientists on numerous projects, including building large-scale distributed training clusters, improving training pipelines for hardware/software stacks, or deploying large language models (LLMs) on GPU instances for real-time applications in our public cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure and research groups to build and implement a comprehensive framework for generative AI applications within the enterprise
- Actively participate in hands-on experimentation with the latest advancements in technology as part of the Research and Development team.
Salary Range: $170,000.00 to $255,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
