SalaryDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting tasks.
- Record financial transactions, maintain accounting records, and prepare month-end reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial statements by compiling information from financial records.
- Monitor hours worked by employees, and review employee contracts and timesheets to ensure that the payroll system is accurate. Track eligibility of benefits as per state and federal guidelines.
- Process regular and supplemental monthly payroll Journal entries, for all employee groups; perform complex payroll calculations; verify information from relevant forms; audits, correct and balance payroll and a variety of reports.
- Perform or review specialized calculations related to posting and accounting functions.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years of experience as accountant preferably in a manufacturing company
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Sage 50 Accounting or similar ERP tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles, methods, and practices related to payroll activities
- Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills which include the ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
Job Location – Onsite @ Corona, CA
Compensation - $35 to $40 an hourly rate + all benefits
