• Staff Accountant

*Location:

• Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

*About the Role: As a Staff Accountant, you play a pivotal role in our financial team, ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Your meticulous work supports our business decisions and contributes to our overall success.
*Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed account reconciliations to guarantee accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and process general ledger entries with precision.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring thorough examination and accuracy.
• Analyze financial information to support decision-making, identify trends, and recommend actions to enhance performance.
• Assist in managing fixed assets and calculating depreciation schedules.
• Provide support during tax audits and in preparing tax returns.
• Contribute to the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Uphold GAAP principles to ensure compliance and reliability of financial statements.
• Perform additional accounting support tasks as directed by the CFO or Controller.

*Job Specifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in general or retail accounting (preferred).
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic accounting procedures and an in-depth understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Experience with computerized ledger systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple projects with efficiency.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Highly self-motivated with a keen ability to function well in a team environment.
