Role Definition
- Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
- Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
- Performing balance reconciliations and P&L variance analysis.
- Creating and utilizing automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results.
- Provide accurate and timely journal reviews and approval for Loan IQ transactions in Oracle.
- Works closely with Capital Markets and Cat Power Finance to support business transactions.
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to processes large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy.
- Experience in Implements a variety of cross-checking approaches and mechanisms.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance tools, techniques, and standards.
- Approaches a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance.
- Makes a systematic comparison of two or more alternative solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with financial transactions and related documentation within the organization.
- Participates in accounting practices of classifying and recording financial data.
- Supplies financial data that is used in reports.
- Able to record accurate and timely financial data to create financial reports.
- Ability to analyze errors or inaccuracies in transactions and support subsequent resolution.
- Manage current work according to assigned priorities while responding to day-to-day operational support.
Degree Requirement:
- A 4-year college or university degree in Accounting or related field of study.
Additional Information:
- This role is a hybrid position and would require any successful candidate to commit to a minimum of 3 day per week in office requirement.
