Staff Accountant

AGA, LLC is a small boutique accounting firm in Morrisville Vermont (Just outside Stowe) specializing in small business accounting and tax preparation. Our services range from A/P, A/R, Payroll and Bookkeeping functions to Monthly Financial Statement Preparation, QuickBooks Training, Business Analysis and Tax Preparation.

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to help with current work load and grow with our business. 2-5 years of accounting experience or Bachelors degree in accounting required. Flexible start date. Full Time business hours between 8/9am EST and 4/5pm EST required.

Candidate must have the ability to stay on task, work independently and interact with clients and staff as necessary.

Candidate could work out of our Morrisville, VT office or remotely.

Requirements:

Proficientwith QB Desktop & Online

Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

Proficient with office equipment including computer, copier, scanner, fax & phone

2-5 Years accounting experience or Bachelors Degree in accounting or related field

Proficient with payroll processing, terminology and laws

Proficient with A/R and A/P functions

Proficient with financial statement reporting

Ability to multitask

Superior customer service skills

Ability to work independently and with a team

Attention to detail

Organized

Ability to prioritize work load

Job Duties Include:

Administrative

Faxing, emailing, scanning

Maintenance of electronic files as necessary

Telephone

Accounting

QuickBooks Data Entry

AP Functions

AR Functions

Payrolls

Financial Statement Preparation

Account Reconciliations

Journal Entries

Client and vendor interaction via phone, fax & email

Pay:
