The Staff Accountant will manage accounting processes, collaborating closely with the Controller and VP of Operations to provide the expertise, oversight, and support crucial for business expansion. The ideal candidate will understand the significance of confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information, bringing an eye for detail and a high-level of integrity to operations. In this role, your contributions will make a serious impact in the areas of financial health and stability, cost control and profitability, operational efficiency, compliance, and risk management. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute month-end closing duties.
• Conduct reconciliations for Inventory, Balance Sheet, and P&L.
• Analyze and record depreciable assets.
• Manage accounts payable.
• Provide exceptional support for special projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Possess a 4-year accredited degree in accounting.
• CPA certification is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Excel in strong Excel skills.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Thrive in a multitasking work environment.
• Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
• Embrace both team collaboration and independent project work.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
