Job Summary:
Maintains the general ledger, reviews financial statements, researches accounts, and analyzes financial records.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Prepares and posts journal entries, performs account analysis, intercompany balance reviews.
• Analyzes revenue and expenses to ensure proper recording and prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Analyzes physical inventory variances and prepare reports to facilitate management review.
• Assists with month-end close and consolidation processes and prepare support for auditors.
• Performs cash management duties, including reviewing wire transfers/bank check, completing bank reconciliations, and monitoring cash and accounts receivable balances. Process and coordinate credit card reconciliations monthly.
• Prepares payroll entries such as PTO Accrual, wage transfers, and wage allocations and reconcile payroll reports and source data.
• Researchs unusual fluctuations in financial data by performing variance analysis.
• Engages with Pharmacy, Rehab and Lab leadership regarding monthly financial results.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 1-3 years
Physical Requirements:
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
