AFC is seeking a motivated on-site Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will perform functions to assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and analytical reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares accounting-related entries to numerous registers and journals.
- Performs monthly bank reconciliations.
- Regularly maintains detailed reconciliations and detailed analyses.
- Prepares documentation for external auditors.
- Processes payroll, including 401k loans and wage garnishments.

Requirements:Technical Knowledge:
- Proficient in MS Teams, Word, and Excel
- Experience with Job Costing and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with INFOR Syteline ERP, Oracle Cloud Fusion or similar ERP software is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Coursework or equivalent experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years prior accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Certified Public Accountant Certificate preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish in a professional capacity, preferred.

The signing bonus does not apply to seasonal workers or Interns. Bonus is paid as follows for employees working 34 or more hours per week: $500 after 30 days of employment, $1,000 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days; for employees working 28-33 hours per week: $375 after 30 days of employment, $750 after 90 days, $750 after 180 days; for employees working 20-27hours per week: $250 after 30 days of employment, $500 after 90 days, $500 after 180 days for employees working less than 20 hours per week: $125 after 30 days of employment, $250 after 90 days, $250 after 180 days.
