Job Description
We are looking to fill a Staff Accountant for a fast-growing Healthcare company in the Arlington / Ft Worth area. This role will report to the Accounting Manager and work across multiple departments in the company. The ideal candidate will have healthcare experience. This is a hybrid role and will be in the office 3 days per week. Position has room for future growth.
Duties:

• Assist Accounting Manager in full cycle accounting including monthly close and preparation of financial reporting
• Assists in maintaining the general ledger
• Reconciles bank accounts (daily), payroll, and other financial accounts
• Verify accuracy of data across multiple systems, sources and reports
• Work with Accounting Manager to improve various financial processes
• Prepare journal entries and financial reports as directed by Accounting Manager
• Assist Purchasing department with inventory related deliverables Assists in the preparation of year-end audit requests/documents
• Complete ad-hoc projects and analysis, as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in healthcare
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• High proficiency in excel and Microsoft Suite
• Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
• Problem solver who demonstrates a high sense of urgency
• Customer service orientation and team player
• Good verbal and written communication
