Accounting Assistant

Role: Accounting Assistant

Reports to: Senior Corporate Controller

Location: Lumberton, TX

Qualifications:

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

· Strong written and verbal skills.

Job description:

· Month end close processes to include but not limited to, balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, monthly journal entries, Ad-hoc reporting, and job costing as needed.

· Cross training in all positions, (AP, AR, etc. )

· Other projects as assigned by Accounting Team.

· Experience in QuickBooks and Computer Ease is a plus.

· Multi state sales tax experience is a plus.

· Audit experience is a must.

· Knowledge of GAAP will be required.

· CPA Firm experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $$40K-45K per year + Bonuses

· 8 hour shift · Monday to Friday · Weekend availability and overtime as needed.
