Duties and Responsibilities

Working Conditions
Works indoors in a normal office environment. Must be available to work 20-29 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Minimum Essential Qualifications
Skills/Abilities: Ability to operate a computer terminal, printer, cash drawer, calculator, typewriter, proof machine, mail opening machine, and copier; ability to quickly and accurately enter data; ability to utilize micro-computer applications; ability to perform arithmetic computations quickly and accurately; ability to understand and carry out moderately complex oral and written instructions; ability to work quickly under pressure; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public; ability to demonstrate flexibility in executing various job functions as required; ability to work with daily deadlines; must be comfortable handling large amounts of cash.
Physical Requirements: Constantly sees and hears, sits, bends, twists body, and uses a calculator; frequently sorts, stands, walks, operates a PC, performs data entry, types, writes by hand, and lifts objects weighing up to 10 lbs.; infrequently squats and bends.
Education/Experience: Graduation from high school or equivalent with some experience/education in bookkeeping and two (2) years experience as a cashier/teller at a financial institution or another institution with similar responsibilities; minimum one (1) year experience in data entry for centralized computer required; experience with micro-computers, word processing, Excel, and other general clerical duties desirable; experience in the operation of computerized cash registers preferred.
