Staff Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Staff Accountant to join our
growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing the finances of our
business, including invoicing, bill payments, record-keeping and generating relevant
reports.

Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Receivable: Generate and send out invoices, follow up on, collect and
allocate payments, and carry out billing, collection and reporting activities
according to specific deadlines.
2. Accounts Payable: Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance
with financial policies and procedures, perform day to day financial transactions,
including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts
receivables' data.
3. Payroll: import payroll data and verify GL mapping in payroll system.
4. Reconciliation: Reconcile ledgers to ensure that all payments are accounted for
and properly posted, and verify and resolve issues.
5. Maintain financial records: Keep records up-to-date with all transactions and
expenditures.
6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with state revenue service, federal, and state
requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements.
7. Reconciliation: Reconcile ledgers and verify any discrepancies or errors
identified by conversing with employees and/or clients.
8. Reporting: Support financial decision-making information by collecting,
analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent
combination of education, training, and experience.
2. 2-5 years of accounting/finance experience.
3. Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as
other Microsoft Office applications.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience with accounting software.
