Senior Accountant

Duties:
Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Assist with monthly physical inventory, analysis and reconciliation

· Assist in month end & year end closing including preparation and issuance of managerial reports

· Reconcile, correct, and close work orders in the ERP system, when needed

· Update, maintain, and distribute Margin Analysis reports for OTECH Corporation

· Monitor finished goods productions and record transfers as necessary in ERP system throughout the month and resolve discrepancies as needed

· Serve as back-up to Accounts Payable and Materials Procurement (Purchasing) as needed

· Capital spend analysis & reconciliation

· Assist in maintaining IRA account

· Assist in year-end external audit & annual bank examination

· Assist in regulatory reporting, including tax planning & compliance

· Processing 1099 forms annually for OTECH Corporation & related subsidiaries

· Apply customer payments and follow-up on delinquent accounts

Assist VP of Finance with ad hoc projects as requested

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
• Ability to observe high levels of confidentiality
• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software
• Well-organized with the ability to prioritize
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in accounting is required

Five(5) years of relevant experience a must
