Job Description:

Plodzik & Sanderson, P.A. is looking for a Staff Accountant, to join our growing team. Qualified individuals are candidates who are outgoing and highly motivated and are exceptional communicators who can collaborate in a team environment. This position will provide the opportunity to work on various types of entities including government, not for profit and commercial enterprises and to provide many areas of service including tax, attest, advisory, and forensic. On job training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of a financial statement audit.
• Identify and address client needs.
• Prepare federal, and state tax returns. Quarterly estimates and extensions.
• Participate in a wide range of projects; consistently demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative.
• Cultivate effective relationships with clients and peers.
• Assist with deliverable financial reports and documents.
• Annually complete continuing professional education requirements.
• Be willing and able to travel to client sites within the State of NH.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA license or intent to pursue licensure.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic technology proficiency including MS office suite.
• Flexibility and willingness to work on a variety of tasks.
• Progressive responsibility for all facets of the audit engagements.
