SSAS/ DAX Engineer (Sr. Data Analyst)Key skills to check: data and analytics experience + SSAS, metric and calculation , multi-dimensional data modeling , experience in Microsoft technologiesSQL Server Analysis Service tabular model (SSAS), SQL Server Database - SQL, Power BI , DAX, Power Apps , Power Automate, Data ModelingResponsibility: - Gather, structure, and analyze data from multiple complex data sources into actionable business insights using industry standard analytical tools and technologies. - Collaborate with a team of data architects, data engineers for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data to support organizational needs and support the development and automation of standard data analysis. - Partner with the business to identify the appropriate data sources and analysis methodology to meet business needs with strong financial business acumen. - Presenting the results of the data analysis, as well as recommendations, to management and process owners. - Business requirements gathering - Profiling data and formulating data flows/business logic - Documenting/establishing business measures with corresponding criteria - Reconciliation of data across systems and sources - Experience working with metric and calculation and data modelingSkills & Technology: MUST be highly skilled and experienced in: - Excel - Pivot tables and power pivot - SQL Server Analysis Services - Create Tabular Model - Power BI - SQL Server Database - SQL
