The Details:
Location: Hybrid work Headquartered in Downtown Seattle, remote work available in WA.
Work Schedule: Our typical business hours are 8:30-5:00 PT Monday-Friday.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10%

About the Position:
Reporting to the Director of SRT Finance and Strategy, the SRT Operations Analyst I will create and coordinate programs and processes necessary for maintaining operational integrity and support SRT staff efforts. This position will supporting ongoing strategic goals with respect to their retirement benefits and services delivered by the SEIU 775 Secure Retirement Trust. This position will coordinate work with the Customer Experience team, Employer representatives, the Member Resource Center, and the Third-Party Administrator, to resolve escalated issues, including, but not limited to, reporting, eligibility, enrollment, contributions and access to retirement benefits.
You Will:
- Assist in management of employers, participants, cross-functional internal relationships and vendors, including Third Party Administrator and Member Resource Center;
- Work with SRT Manager of Administration to troubleshoot and resolve participant complaints and escalations;
- Collaboration across the team, organization and the SEIU 775 Union;
- Work with data for reporting, situational research and trend analysis;
- Identify, compile and work through recommendations for continued process improvement;
- Work directly with Benefits Group staff to coordinate SRT communications to caregivers through multiple avenues focused on caregiver retention needs;
- Help develop and deploy reporting, processes, procedures and trainings related to the assessment of participant engagement;
- Update management on business as usual projects related to internal departments;
- Review relevant customer service trends and operational data to assess future program direction;
- Utilize Data from Vendors, SRT and within the organization to identify opportunities for continued improvement;
- Develop and prepare board and committee materials and content;
- Data analysis and research to identify opportunities for enhanced reporting and presentations;
- Work closely with vendors and stakeholders to ensure data sources are accurate, available and analyzable;
- Work directly within Tableau and Power BI to create and edit SQL queries within to build calculated fields to build dashboards, reporting, troubleshoot and manage data sources;
- Build and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server, including analysis to test, clean and standardized data to meet the business requirements.
- Communicate progress on Secure Retirement Trust initiatives, metrics, and problem solving to internal and external stakeholders including metrics related to plan growth, participant engagement, and strategic planning;
- From time-to-time, perform other duties commensurate with the level of this position.
You Will Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree, certification, bootcamp or, equivalent experience;
- 1-3+ years of experience in metric-based customer service or benefits administration;
- 1+ years experience working with large and complex data set and able to write simple queries to create calculated fields.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills;
- Great oral and written communication skills;
- Be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and leverage resources across departments;
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while paying strict attention to detail;
- Demonstrated MS Excel and PowerPoint knowledge and ability to review and analyze data;
- Understanding of data systems (BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, data ETL, etc.) on process automation and standardization;
- Skills in creative thinking and development of process improvement;
- Comfort in collaborating with stakeholders;
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
- Proven personal planning, motivation, Project Management and time management skills with attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently.
It Would Be Nice If You Had:
- Minimum of 2 years non-profit, Union or similar experience preferred;
- Demonstrated knowledge of retirement and/or financial concepts;
- Knowledge of SQL and Python coding languages;
- Master’s Degree in similar field.
Salary Range:
- $83,160.00 to $105,344.60
