Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes Training and Compliance is seeking aQuality Assurance Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst - Assembly Advisement (Workplace Coach) to support the Assembly Advisement Team at the Skill Enhancement Center in Renton, Washington.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes inspection of manufacturing and assembly experience in one or more of these areas; mechanical, fluids/pneumatics, electrical integration, composites fabrication, composites assembly, machine operations for coaching, performance improvement, and problem-solving in support of the Boeing Production System.
  • Analyzes and interprets performance and quality data to identify and mitigate changes in the production system. (e.g. CMES, NCM, CAR, CORRS). Conducts assessments of processes and practices, analyzes, and interprets data for improvement opportunities.
  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk. Analyzes processes and supports Boeing Production System problem solving and develops and documents innovative solutions supporting site QCDSM goals.
  • Assist Quality managers & team leads with Structured On-the-Job-Training (SOJT) plans.
  • Program/job-specific, advanced skills training- Supports training and coaching solutions to improve employee performance.
  • Workplace Coaching- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for specific Quality & Manufacturing Skills/Disciplines.
  • Provides instruction, positive modeling, and opportunities for observation to help team members, employees.
  • Encourages questions to ensure understanding when coaching gives timely, appropriate feedback on performance.
  • Reinforces efforts and progress.
  • Clarifies expected behaviors, knowledge, and level of proficiency by seeking and giving information and checking for understanding.
  • Establishes good interpersonal relationships by helping team members and internal employees feel valued, appreciated, and included.
  • Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization
  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers.
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  • Analyzes and interprets data.
  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
  • Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 5+ years of experience working with manufacturing, materials and assembly processes.
  • 5+ years of experience in Inspection and Inspection Techniques.
  • Ability to work on 2nd shift.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Initiating Nonconformance Records, and working the QA Callboard.
  • Prior MRB or MRBD authority experience.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for initiation and processing of all types of nonconformance records.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in inspecting aircraft assembly processes.
  • Prior QA Lead experience.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for CAR initiation, Check Order Pass, and Check Order Failure processes.
  • Thorough knowledge and proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints & drawings using REDARS/EID LWG (and IVT a plus).
  • Expertise with BIDS PQR Reports, Go-Parts-Go, OP-HATS, etc.
  • Project Management certification and experience
  • Experience leading quality or manufacturing projects.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project & Access.
  • Expertise with RCCA techniques.
  • A subject matter expert for determining NCR type required (NCR Revision, Standard Child NCR, Limited Child NCR, Unitized & Non-Unitized NCR, Pickup NCR, etc.)
  • A subject matter expert for Boeing QMS Business Process Instructions (BPI) and Boeing Supplemental Specifications (BSS).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Possess Manufacturing experience in one or more of these areas: Mechanical, Fluids/Pneumatics,
  • Electrical Integration, Composites Fabrication, Composites Assembly, and Inspection Techniques.
  • HTML/C++, VBA, MS Access, or Excel Programming abilities

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $100,300 - $129,800
