Helping customers connect with the stories and authors they love is Amazon's original customer obsession. On the Books team, our mission is to inspire readers by making it easy to read more and get more out of reading. In pursuit of this, our 70+ person Design Studio provides the user research, UX, and brand design for Kindle E-readers, Kindle apps for phones and tablets, Author & Publisher tools, and book shopping experiences used by millions of readers and thousands of authors around the world.
We are looking for a highly-determined, highly-curious, Sr. UX Designer to join our team in our downtown Seattle South Lake Union location. In this role, this Sr. UX Designer will focus on improving our customers' evaluation and purchase moments for the books on Amazon, our Kindle Apps and Kindle E-readers. This person will work collaboratively with a global team of product managers, engineers, executives, and other design teams at Amazon, to improve how customers shop for their next great read. Candidates must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment with a high-degree of independence and ownership.
