PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work closely with CDI management, Cisco and any third-party vendors to implement Unified Communications & Video solutions. These solutions will be customized to each clients environment and will meet all requirements established by our clients.
- Document all aspects of the delivery as it pertains to installation, configuration, and maintenance of the delivered environment.
- Senior level support of all CDI internal networking and telephony solutions supporting our sales force, delivery consultants, inside sales, and executive management.
- Work with CDI sales to identify new offerings and additional customer solutions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to CDI voice engineers.
- Support team members when troubleshooting complex issues.
- Learn and embrace new vendor-agnostic collaboration technologies.
- Work with other teams to add or enhance CDIs collaboration offerings.
- Work with the collaboration team to build a set of standards for the practice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Plan, install, upgrade, and maintain the Cisco IP Communications infrastructure components, including:
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (SME)
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (Unified CME)
- Cisco Unity Connection (CUC)
- Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX)
- DB integration to SQL
- Configure Skill based routing
- Configure outbound dialing
- Ability to create CCX Scrips
- 3rd party CRM integration ie. Salesforce
- Finesse layout design
- Cisco IM & Presence (IM&P)
- Cisco Expressway Core & Edge
- Cisco Video Solutions
- Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS)

- Have a working knowledge of network infrastructure components that support the Unified communications solution, with emphasis on voice gateways, such as the following:

- Plan, install, upgrade, and maintain cloud collaboration solutions (UCaaS) including:

- Microsoft Teams with Cloud PSTN
- Microsoft Teams with Direct Routing (Bring Your Own Carrier via Supported Third Party SBC)

- Perform Testing
- Perform detailed system level testing of all applications and devices
- Perform detailed user acceptance testing (UAT)

- As-Built documentation
- Design/Topology drawings
- Detailed testing documentation (system/user)
- Maintain a clear and open line of communication with CDI management as to the ongoing status of each project, scheduling conflicts and delivery methodologies.
- Qualified candidates are preferred to have a Cisco CCNP-Collaboration and or CCIE Collaboration Certification.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with enterprise IP Telephony, PBX, Voice/Unified Messaging, and Call / Contact Center (ACD, IVR, CTI) systems
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP internetworking, with a strong preference for those candidates with experience in designing, planning, and implementing LANs and WANs using Cisco technology
- Ability to work weekends and after-hours as necessary to resolve operational issues and meet the needs of our business partners
- Travel within the New York Metro Area.
