Infosys is seeking an JDE Worldsoft Technical Lead Consultant. You will be leading a team in JDE-W A7.3ver. and performing development, support and maintenance activities. You will guide teams on various processes, deliverables and contribute to the reviews. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.
- 7 years of Information Technology experience.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Parsippany, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
- Technical Expertise in JDE Worldsoft A7.3 version with RPG/CL program knowledge/skill set
- Working knowledge of JDE S&D and Finance functional modules
- Should have experience of 2 AMS projects around JDE World starting from transition and experience in development work.
- Communicate effectively with application development and support teams regarding issues.
- Hands on experience in SLA driven production support
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. We are not able to sponsor at this time.
- Strong Hands-on experience with Oracle fusion application development and support is Must.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in JDE Worldsoft A7.3 version with RPG/CL program knowledge/skill set as technical consultant.
- Should have knowledge of RPG400, CL400, RPGILE languages and well versed with RDBMS, DB2/ 400, and OS400 concepts.
- Strong in Developing Applications and Reports using World tools.
- Have very good programming and development skills on RPG/ 400, DB2/ 400 and CL/ 400 programming languages.
- Very well conversant with the development tools on the JDE World soft and have worked extensively with SVR, SDA, RDA, FTP, Dream Writer & Work Query report writing tools of World soft.
- Retrofit standard as well as customized programs to facilitate the business.
- Created new programs as per client requirement.
- Modify standard as well as customized program based on request
- Should have experience in working on proposals in JDE & generating new business opportunities.
- Should have capabilities to do project estimation, resource sizing, and Risks evaluation and mitigation plans for different size of business opportunities.
- Should be capable in attending client workshops, gathering business requirements, mapping to JDE and doing Gap analysis and fitment.
- Should have strong leadership skills with capability to manage multi culture and virtual teams at onsite and offshore.
- Ability to train and manage junior team for delivery and meeting SLA's.
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
