Primary Responsibilities
The SAP Master Data Functional Lead is responsible for providing key SAP S/4 functional expertise in the domain of material master. You will play a key role within the SAP Data Team, leading data readiness activities for Material Master and material related objects, as part of the organizations S/4HANA Business Transformation project.
Role and Responsibilities:

• Must be well versed with SAP S4 functional master data design and use, primarily in the material master domain. Experience in the BP-supplier domains, BP-customer, and financial data domains a plus.
• Support Axalta's material master MDM processes, understand technical and functional data use cases, work closely with functional business team members to establish active and passive master data governance processes and procedures.
• Work closely with functional teams to document master data design processes, while ensuring integrity, compliance, and consistency of master data design across systems
• Analyzes and classifies complex change request, identifies, and documents impacts and proposes potential solution options.
• Responsible to ensure S4 functional and conversion design documentation is assessed and updated to confirm completeness, accuracy, and adherence to functional and technical design requirements.
• Support the collection, transformation, and construction of data activities related to testing and loading into Axalta's S4 systems.
• Intricate functional knowledge of SAP manufacturing and Supply Chain processes and the associated material related data objects impacted by these process areas.
• Basic functional knowledge of SAP Order to Cash, Finance, and Procurement processes and the associated material related data objects impacted by these process areas.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/GED plus minimum 5 + years of functional experience with SAP of work experience in related field.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in an Information Systems field.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience leading the successful design and delivery of an SAP S/4 master data (material master, and related objects).
• Experience leading data definitions development, data model creation, and data quality improvements, collaborating with cross functional technology teams and business partners.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective organization, planning, analytical skills and follow through.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication/documentation skills.
• Service oriented, collaborative approach to internal customer and peer relationships.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines, prioritize work, and resolve roadblocks.
• Team player and self-starter.
• Good Understanding of SAP ECC and S4/HANA material related data objects preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP BODS, LTMC, SLT, Information Steward, and/or other SAP data conversion tools preferred.
