THE ROLE:  Sr. Solutions Architect, Microsoft

Job Summary:

As a Digital Workspace Solutions Architect, you will have the responsibility for account team enablement tasks such as meeting with Presidio account teams to assist with Digital Workspace Strategy, meeting with clients to develop statements of work, BOMs, and/or presentations, and overall customer & vendor planning & development.

Travel Requirements:

In this role, you may be expected to travel up to 25% in the future.  It will be based in any location in the United States in the Pacific, Mountain or Central Time Zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the sales and technical team, attending customer meetings; must be comfortable presenting to and communicating with all levels of staff from Helpdesk to C-Level
• Collect business and technical requirements
• Drive whiteboard conversations
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Support proof-of-concept efforts, create Bill of Materials (BOMs)
• Create and deliver proposals and accomplishing related results as needed
• Assist Consulting Engineering team with project delivery.
• Ability to work with minimal direction in a team environment to drive business
• Provide daily work direction to the Solutions Architect vertical.
• Serve as the primary escalation path for both Solutions Architects and clients and engage upper management when necessary.
• Assist with pre/post-sales calls with sales and clients such as IKO and CKO meetings.
• Provide regular status updates to engineering managers to keep them informed about issues, impediments, escalations and necessary resources.
• Provide areas for improvement with direct influence on training/validating new processes.
• Engage on developing new products and new solutions
• Attend daily meetings with clients when necessary to review high priority issues and provide/accept guidance on issues affecting their internal infrastructure. This would include being familiar with the client’s environment and having extensive knowledge of the infrastructure.
• Provide feedback to management on process improvements and areas of concern.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Technical subject matter expertise in at least two of the following:

• Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, System Center, Intune, Windows Server, O365 Suite, Enterprise Mobility Suite, PowerShell, OMS, Azure Solutions, SharePoint, Power BI, SQL Server, Identity Manager, Windows Desktop/Surface, Visual Studio, .NET

• Strong adherence to SLA’s and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Excellent documentation, organizational and standardization skills
• Comfortable presenting to clients including C-Level
• Candidate must be a standard bearer for continuous improvement of the Presidio client experience and a leader in the development and advancement of our corporate technical expertise
• Strong written, communication & interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate technical information in using non-technical language
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in periods of stress

Additional Desired Skills:

• One of the following Microsoft Certifications - MCSE, MCSA and/or MCSD
• Experience acting in similar team lead capacity or management roles 
• Presales experience 

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• 7+ years of delivery and architecture experience with Microsoft products
