What you'll do

DocuSign is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Software Architect to join our Product-Led Growth team under the product development organization. The Sr. Software Architect will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the e-commerce and product-led growth applications. You enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions. You will also help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, and mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.

 

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Principal Architect. 

 

Responsibility

• Be open minded, forward thinking and passionate about great software
• Think about how to solve problems in scale and build fault tolerant systems
• Propose and implement working prototypes for testing new ideas
• Work with Product Management and other stakeholders to understand and translate commerce and growth teams, and build end to end architecture and system designs
• Mentor and address other engineers within the organization
• Present Software Architecture to the executives
• Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive the design, implementation, testing, and release of products

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic 

• Bachelors or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software development experience in user-facing applications
• Experience in Node.JS, React JS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, C#, .net Core, Java, SQL and No-SQL Database
• Experienced building or consuming RESTful web-services

Preferred 

• Working knowledge of user authentication and authorization
• Experience shipping highly available, scalable service on Azure
• Passion for learning and working with new technologies
• Strong understanding of design
• Product development experience building large scale web applications
• Care deeply about writing high performance, reusable code for components that will be used across our product
• Passionate about creating an inclusive and accessible user experience
• Familiarity with SaaS eCommerce and multichannel web marketing
• Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web
• Experience with internationalization and localization
• Experience working with Headless CMS like Contentful

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $146,800 - $235,025 base salary

 

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $139,800 - $207,325 base salary

 

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
