About this Role 

This is an exceptional opportunity for a mission-driven and dynamic Architect and Software Engineer Lead who is excited about building the end-to-end technology infrastructure from the ground up for a value-based care delivery startup. The Senior Architect and Software Engineer Lead will participate in developing the multi-year strategic blueprint and then lead components of implementation of the data platform, in-house software build, and integration work with other vendor applications. This individual will have a deep understanding of software solutions and make critical decisions on technology stack and design patterns.

Expectations for this Role

• Design Software Systems: Create high level design of software systems, such as architecture, components, interfaces, protocols, and standards to build scalable and robust technical solutions.  
• Senior Architect leads technical strategies and architectures as well as technical development for enterprise-wide, large projects or systems, using industry-standard integrated architecture model 
• Meticulously define strategy, roadmap and plan on all necessary database and server architecture, framework, and development 
• Lead the front-end and back-end development team to build and scale new software and maintain and update existing software 
• Implement solution architecture by building components and custom designs and maintaining technical integrity 
• Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement improvements in system architectures 
• Design and implement proof of concepts, solution/architecture planning and custom demos 
• Perform technical feasibility and impact analysis and select software architecture or solution 
• Mentor and lead software developers and collaborate on work with vendor teams 
• Lead, define and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions 
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud (Azure, AWS and GCP) services and industry trends, and assess their applicability to our architecture to drive innovation 
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture and design decisions, ensuring knowledge sharing and collaboration 

Attributes of an Ideal Candidate

• Passion and mission orientation for serving high-risk seniors and frail older adults  
• Thrives in a high growth, "zero to one" environment 
• Prior experience evaluating and implementing a best-of-breed technology stack from the ground up, ideally in another healthcare setting 
• Strong experience in building both web based and mobile applications using latest frameworks like Nextjs/React/Flutter/Angular/Ionic  
• Strong experience in architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java 
• Experience with Snowflake architecture 
• Working Knowledge of key missioncritical infrastructure such as Active Directory/ SSO, Relational Databases, File transferring (SFTP), etc. 
• Be a quick learner and comfortable diving into a subject matter area; Proactively identifies key problems/risks and recommends solutions; Communicates (written and verbal) effectively to internal audiences 

Location

• Los Angeles, California
• This role is hybrid: mostly remote but will need to attend occasional team meetings and other business sessions as needed in Los Angeles center. 
• Relocation benefits offered if willing to reside in Los Angeles  

$120,995 - $152,896 a year

myPlace Health offers a robust compensation package for this role that includes cash compensation and other total rewards. Base pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, relevant work and industry experience, certifications, and location of the role. Onsite roles include appropriate geographic adjustments, while remote roles are typically priced off national pay data.

 

This role is eligible for the following:
