The scope of the IT GEMS contract includes a full range of information technology (IT) services which include necessary hardware, software, and ancillary, components to support enterprise-level programs and environments. Support service areas include program management support, policy, procedures, and operations support, IT core services support, security compliance, customer and client services support, transformational IT support, and application migration support.
HOW AN SR. QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Supports Transition-In, C.5.1.14 Quality Management, and C.5.1.15 Communications Management.
- Responsible for leading the quality team and developing, maintaining, and updating a comprehensive Quality Control Plan (QCP) that is integrated into the Project Management Plan and outlines the strategies, processes, and procedures for ensuring quality and effective communications throughout the project.
- Also responsible for aligning the QCP with DMDC's performance requirements, objectives, and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
- Implement an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) in SharePoint (IPMS-SharePoint) that provides individual, role-based access to ensure the right people have access to the right information while maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Implements a process for identifying problems and non-conformities promptly and executes corrective and preventive actions as part of our CSI2 to ensure continuous improvement in service quality.
- Conducts audits and documents and tracks issues and corrective actions in SharePoint (IPMS-SharePoint) and reports stats in the Monthly Status Report (Del 11).
- Provides an independent assessment of how processes, including software development, are executed relative to the defined processes.
- Produces the Critical to Quality and Critical Success Factor Milestone Improvements (Del 35) with the initial report within 3 months of contract award and then quarterly thereafter.
