BGE is seeking a Water ResourcesSr. Project Manager to join the Public Works department in our San Antonio office.

Responsibilities:
- Plans, coordinates, and directs civil engineering analysis and design on multiple projects with many complex features
- Interacts with project clients
- Performs project management tasks, including project setup, staff resource planning, earned value management, schedule development and management, and overall project delivery
- Responsible for developing and mentoring staff
- Leads the execution of civil and water resource engineering tasks such as hydrologic and hydraulic models analyses, water and wastewater pipeline planning and modeling, summarizing results, and making recommendations for final design improvements
- Manages the design team and overall production of civil infrastructure deliverables and ultimately acquires necessary permits for bid and construction
- Coordinates and/or provides QA/QC to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate documentation
- Responsible for financial tracking and invoicing
- Lead or support the development of project pursuits, proposals, and interviews
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Registered PE in Texas required or can be acquired through reciprocity within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 12 yrs. of professional experience in civil and/or water resource engineering
- Oversee the performance of multiple Project Managers and/or engineers and their teams
- Preferred: Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience including HEC-HMS, HEC-RASInfoWorks, XPSWMM, WaterGEMS, and WaterCAD
- Preferred: CAD and/or Civil 3D
- Comfortable with verbal and non-verbal (electronic) communication to clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Ability to prepare and deliver client presentations
