About the Job
As a Project Manager, you will lead projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall value of our cabinetry products. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our cabinetry remains competitive and of the highest quality
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze existing cabinetry designs and manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and execute project plans, defining objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with product design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to implement initiatives.
- Conduct cost analyses and feasibility studies for proposed changes and improvements.
- Implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining or improving product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of projects.
- Lead internal and supplier workshops to identify cost savings opportunities and eliminate waste through the entire value stream by using the process.
- Conduct product teardowns and benchmark analysis of competitive products.
- Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and technologies relevant to cabinetry production.
About you
Qualifications & Professional attributes
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; expertise in woodworking or cabinetry is advantageous.
- [3+] years of experience in project management, with a strong background in the cabinetry industry.
- In-depth knowledge of cabinetry materials, construction techniques, and finishing processes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct cost-benefit analyses.
- Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
