Sr Project Manager P/T
The Senior Project Manager (Part-Time) is a seasoned professional responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects within the organization. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, developing project plans, and ensuring successful project delivery within specified timelines and budgets. The Senior Project Manager will leverage extensive project management experience to drive efficiency, foster collaboration, and maintain clear communication channels. This part-time position requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in a dynamic environment.

Sr Project Manager P/T Responsibilities Include:
- Once requested, conducts meetings with clients to assess their needs and discuss project funding options.
- Documents project site survey, telecom, electrical, reflective ceiling, base-building dimensions.
- Coordinates with project consultants to develop schematic space plans and conceptual furniture layouts, review consultant proposals.
- Develops a project plan Scope of Work (SOW) and construction estimate to meet the project requirements.
- Maintains regular communication with client and stakeholders to advise the status of each project.
- Identifies risks along with a recommended course of action to mitigate those risks.
- Follows up on all open items within the project plan that impact schedule.
- Coordinates telecom/IT requirements for project.
- Reviews general contractor's proposals for acceptance, independently or in consultation with GSA and other stakeholders.
- Coordinates all furniture installations, internal furniture moves and service coordination, as required.
- Oversees project construction progress, conducting progress meetings as required and develop project punch list.
- Coordinates access to the facility and space through building security and related applicable policies.
- Manages and tracks project funding.
- Performs project audits and inspections as requested.
- Maintains accurate project files in accordance with local policies and procedures.
- Complies with local governance templates, standards, and processes.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Sr Project Manager P/T Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Fifteen years of experience large scale facilities projects, managing federal construction and facilities programs. This includes experience related to project management, facilities program oversight and implementation of facilities policy to ensure compliance with law, regulation, and Executive Order.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Skilled in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, and techniques of written and verbal communication.
- Skilled in communication techniques to gather and disseminate information and communicate problems and results.
- Ability to work well with others and manage multiple tasks, with good organizational skills.
- Ability to complete and pass a background check.
