- Our client is looking for an self-motivated, innovative individual for an Engineering Project Manager position that can demonstrate the successful delivery of detailed mechanical/electrical design packages on medium to large scale capital projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead projects and design efforts from a mechanical/HVAC perspective from concept design
- Develop overall Conceptual and Basis of Design level design approaches and documentation
- Design central utility plant systems and overall equipment layouts
- Develop Mechanical/Utility equipment and construction specifications
- Perform temperature, humidity control, and utility load calculations
- Develop various airflow and piping diagrams
- Developing building management system (BMS) control philosophy and Sequence of Operations
- Perform construction assistance in the form of submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field visits to verify construction of mechanical scope
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 15 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting
- PE registration is required
- Understanding of/experience using AutoCAD and Revit
- Understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is preferred
- LEED Accredited Professional is preferred
